Spring is such a fun time to visit Vail! Beyond the copious spring activities, there are endless events that take place throughout the season. Here are a few of the exciting events taking place in Vail this spring.
Shamrock Shuffle Snowshoe Race (March 12): The eighth annual Vail Recreation District Krueger Family Shamrock Shuffle 5K and 10K races and the kids’ 1K fun run will take place on the Vail Nordic Center trails. This is a great way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!
3rd Friday’s Vail Après Party (March 18 and April 15): After skiing all day, enjoy 4 PM Après and special events on the 3rd Friday of each month during the ski season!
Full Moon Snowshoe Experience (March 18): This backcountry snowshoe trek is guided by the light of the full moon! This 1 mile adventure takes you up Buck Creek, where you can catch your breath and enjoy a campfire before heading back!
The Steadman Clinic Vail Cup (March 26): This fun, family-oriented complimentary competition is open to children of birth year 206 and young! Skiers and snowboarders are welcome.
Taj Mahal (March 26): Taj Mahal is a legendary, Grammy-winning musician who has been performing for more than 50 years. He is a member of the Blues Hall of Fame, an Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement Winner, and an all-around incredible performer. Don't miss his show!
Taste of Vail (April 6-9): Experience Vail Valley's world-class restaurants, plus fine wines from around the world at this exciting culinary event! There will be fantastic food plus interactive seminars, an auction, a dance, and more.
