More than just a ski destination, Vail is a hub for year-round fun! This summer, the Vail Resorts system has massive plans for each of its resorts. Vail promises to be a fabulous summer destination!
Vail Mountain will be open for summer operations on June 17, 2022! They will be open daily through September 5, and then weekends through October 2.
The season will kick off with the GoPro Mountain Games, which will celebrate their 20th anniversary from June 7-12, 2022. As a part of the games, Gondola One will operate scenic rides on June 11 and 12.
Throughout the summer, Vail will offer lift rides, gondola rides, bike hauls, and other awesome activities. Later in the summer, when snow and trail conditions allow, hiking and biking trails will open.
Gondolas will access food and beverages at MidVail and Eagle's Nest! Come enjoy great food with stunning views!
Additionally, Epic Discovery, the top summer activity in Vail, will return this year with the Forest Flyer Mountain Coaster, Eagle’s Nest Tubing Hill, Marmot Mini Kid’s Tubing Hill, kids zipline, bungee trampoline, Paramount Peak Climbing Wall, Gore Creek Mini Golf, and much more! The whole family will love it!
