September is creeping up around the corner and the mountain air is beginning to cool down. This does not mean the summer fun is stopping! Vail has always been host to memorable live performance during the summer and this summer, even with Covid, has been no different.
JAZZ IN THE PARK
Vail Jazz is an annual festival every summer to showcase the undeniably smooth and exciting sounds of Jazz. This year there has been an abridged version of the concerts but you can still get on over to some and enjoy it.
Vail Jazz has created a new segment called Jazz in the Park. This will take place every Friday until late September in the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. Gates ill open at 5pm and the show will begin at 6pm. The Price? FREE! The organizers are asking that each party register to allow to for proper social distancing, please head over to the Jazz Festival Website for more information. This is a perfect family friendly way to kick off your weekend. Pack a picnic and sit back and relax.
SHAKEDOWN PRESENTS: LIVE MUSIC IN THE GARDENS
The Shakedown bar has been a long favorite for music in Vail, their house band always kills it and they have brought in some unforgettable musicians in the past. This summer they have created a new event called Live Music in the Gardens. Every Saturday Shakedown will fill the air up with exciting live music from familiar locals and even some world renowned singers such as John Popper. Shows will begin at 2:00pm and tickets are required, please head over to Eventbrite to purchase your ticket for each upcoming show.
