The beautiful Colorado Wilderness is going through some tough times right now with over 130,000 acres of wildfires currently burning. While this may not have a direct impact on your vacation or activities, the smoke in the air can be a nuisance. Depending on wind direction you may want to limit your amount of outdoor activities to avoid it. Thankfully the Vail Valley has some great indoor options to keep your vacation days filled!

Bol

With a top notch location in the heart of Vail Village and a 5 star dining menu, Bol will be one of the best Bowling experiences you have ever had. Bol is a top stop in Vail and does sell out on most nights, make sure to call ahead and book a lane. They are open Wednesday - Sunday from 12pm - 8pm. Rates are $60 per hour plus $5 per person for shoes, these rates may change on weekends or holidays. There is a maximum person limit of 6 on each lane, they are very strict on this.

Make sure to grab some food here as well. Bol is not your typical greasy finger food bowling alley, here you will find dishes that are on par with some of the top restaurants in Vail.

Vail Valley Escape Room

Escape rooms are a great way to get some bonding time in with the family or coworkers. The Vail Valley Escape Room, which is located in Avon offers 3 different rooms, each with increasing difficulty and unique challenges. You and your party have 60 minutes to solve the clues and escape the rooms. The escape room is open daily from 2pm - 7pm and costs $35 per person. They have also implemented some new Covid-19 regulations to keep you safe while having fun!

Colorado Snowsports Museum

If you are like most of us Coloradans and dreaming about snow right now, The Snowsports Museum is a great stop for you. Stop in and take a peak back in time to the beginning of the sports we have all come to love. The Out There and Skiing Through Time exhibits feature the history and evolution of Skiing and Snowboarding. There is also an exhibit dedication to the 10th Mountain Division which helped shape Vail into the resort it is today.

The Museum is open daily from 11am - 5pm and is free to all.

Shopping

There is a good chance you may already have got your shopping in, but if not this is a great way to limit your outdoor time. Vail Village and Lionshead both have a great collection of familiar name brands stores as well as local shops. Wild Bills is a must stop, here you will find those oddities that are sure to be conversation starters at home.
