The 2018 Winter Olympic Games have started and everybody is excited to see how our favorite athletes perform. Here in the mountain, where winter sports are our favorite pastime activity, we are a little bit more excited than everybody else and you can feel that spirit if you go in any sports bar in town. If you are looking for the best place to watch the Games the Vail Valley has a lot to offer — from fancy cocktails and gourmet apps to wooden tables and local beer; check the list below to find the perfect sports bar for you.

The Remedy
One of the most talked about bars in town is located right in The Four Seasons hotel, and the rumors are true — it is one of the best bars in Vail. With an enormous 165” display showing all the major sports events, you will not miss out on any of the action happening in Pyeongchang. Even though watching sports might be what brings you to The Remedy, the phenomenal drink and food menu is what is going to make you go back over and over again. Try the Medicine Cabinet on the Flixers list or any of the local beers on the To Cure What Ales menu. When it comes to the food at The Remedy there is no way to go wrong whether you decide to order a variety of appetizers or a delicious steak.

Ale House

Located in the West Vail mall a bit off the beaten path, The Ale House offers relaxed and more space, perfect for a bigger group. Ale House has about 15 Tv screens showing all the major sporting events, so you are definitely going to find enough of Olympic Games coverage and a great crowd for discussing ski racing. The place also prides itself for offering some of the best choices of craft beers in the valley with 20 beers on tap that are frequently changing. The food in the Ale House is just as good as the beer - modern and exciting take on the pub classics. Happy hour is Monday to Friday from 3pm to 6pm and all day on Tuesday. The Ale House is also known for hosting great live music concerts, so make sure to stick around after the game.

Bob's Place
No matter if you want to watch biathlon, luge or curling, Bob’s Place has it. It is known around the valley as the sports bar with the most comprehensive sports Tv packaging and 20 HD TVs. The best part about Bob’s Place is that it is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night bar fare. So it is the only place in town where you can watch a 10am game and enjoy delicious eggs breakfast. The most amazing part about Bob’s Place is how good the food actually is; they serve a great variety of foods from homemade soup, fresh salad to burgers and Mexican food at very affordable prices. Bob’s Place is located in the heart of Avon, walking distance to many hotels and the Beaver Creek Gondola.
