Spring is many people's favorite time to visit the mountains - warm sun, great snow and a ton of festivities on and off the mountain. Here in Vail we especially love the month of March as it turns the town into an event-packed spring break destination. With some new festivals mixed in with the annual favorites this March will not disappoint.

Burton US Open, March 5-10
One of the most reputable snowboarding competitions in the world opens up the spring events Calendar. The 2018 Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships returns to Vail Mountain and it brings to town the best in the sport competing to win the most prestigious Halfpipe and Slopestyle titles in snowboarding. We just watched them in the Olympics throwing down the most incredible runs, now come to Vail and see them in person. The action continues off the snow from Wednesday onwards with an epic sponsor village, nightly concerts in Vail Village, and The US Open of Broomball Tournament at Solaris Ice Rink.
