The Vail Golf Club is open for the season ... mostly. The front nine holes are now open, along with the seven-hole loop on the back, for a total of 16 playable holes for you to enjoy.

New this year, the Vail Golf Club will be debuting a brand-new starter building and upgraded driving range scheduled for opening mid-June. A newly renovated 15th tee will also open in June, accessible by updated bridges on holes 14 and 15.

In anticipation of the upcoming season and a number of rules changes this year, the Vail Golf Club is offering a USGA Rules of Golf presentation on Monday, June 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. Visit the Gore Range Room of the Vail Golf Clubhouse for a free 2019 Rules of Golf presentation by the Vail Golf Club professional staff and Colorado Golf Association Representative Leo Barabe.

Current pricing is $40 for 16 holes walking and $30 for 9 holes.

Electric carts are now available, as are bike carts. Carts are $12 for 9 holes and $17 for 16 holes.

Season passes and punch cards are now available for purchase online at www.vailgolf.com. New this year, the Vail Golf Club is adding "flex" punch cards and an afternoon punch card. The flex punch card will allow cardholders to make tee times up to seven days in advance during peak season.

The Vail Golf Club offers a variety of season passes to choose from including gold and silver passes, junior passes, young adult passes and parent-junior passes for families to play together. Popular 10 round and 20 round (9 hole) punch passes are also available. Passes may be purchased online at vailgolf.com. Guests may also purchase passes and punch cards by calling 970-479-2260 or emailing aplain@vailrec.com. In-person purchases will be available at the Vail Golf Club pro shop beginning on opening day.

The pro shop is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the early season and is stocked with the latest in golf wear, shoes and clubs. The Vail Golf Club will again offer a stellar lineup of programming and camps for both youth and adults. Starting in June, adults can participate in the Sam Adams Swing Hour and Ladies, Lessons and Libations driving range clinics, Play with the Pro programs, plus senior clinics, junior camps and a High School Golf Camp this year. The Vail Golf Club and Grill on the Gore welcome back Chef David Sanchez, who will continue serving up creative takes on your favorite American comfort foods. With a diverse craft beer selection and signature cocktails, the Grill on the Gore is the perfect place to gather with friends and family this summer to take in the spectacular Gore Range mountain views from the outside patio. The Grill on the Gore restaurant is scheduled to open on June 7.
