The biggest attraction at Vail Resort's Epic Discovery adventure center, Forest Flyer Mountain Coaster is an exciting alpine coaster that winds 3,400 feet down gorgeous Colorado terrain. The forest and mountain views are stunning, and the downhill rush is sure to get your blood pumping. What isn't to like??

To me, flying through the forest sounds like the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon. When it comes to rollercoasters, I'm all about the speed. If you prefer a slower cruise, though, then you're in luck- each cart's descent speed is driver-controlled, making each ride highly customizable. You can zip down the mountain and enjoy the thrill or you can take your time rolling down and absorb every bit of the spectacular scenery.
A single ride costs $27. Participants without a current Epic Pass will also have to pay for a gondola ride to get to the start.
The coaster opens for the summer on June 19th and run between 10 AM and 3 PM throughout the summer. Details on rider requirements are available here.
