The  Parties
When it comes to World Cup ski racing, it is hard to say if ski racing or parting is the main event. Beaver Creek is no exception. Birds of Prey Way starts at noon at Beaver Creek Village and it features Expo Village with multiple sponsor tents where you can find anything from loud cow bells to high tech ski gear and many giveaways. The Pumphouse Bar by the ice rink opens at noon as well serving up libations from Korbel, Oskar Blues, Lagunitas, and Svedka. If you decide you do not want to give up your cozy seat by fire pit you can still enjoy the races as they are being streamed in Beaver Creek Village. Beers of Prey is the big après-ski party that you do not want to miss. The beer tasting starts at 3PM on Saturday in  Beaver Creek Village and features exclusive limited releases and fan favorite brews. Other fun evening activities include athlete autograph signing, live music at the square and Warren Miller’s Line of Descent showing at the Vilar Performing Arts Center. Do not miss the kettle curling at the ice rink, too.

The Mountain
All the ski racing will probably make you want to go out for a few turns. Beaver Creek has enough terrain open to satisfy your early season ski cravings. Centennial lift and Buckaroo gondola are running offering beginner and intermediate terrain. Also ski school is open with lessons for all skill levels.
